Equipment

A soft bag, easy to store

Progress of a typical day on a sailboat for information purposes only

In the morning , wake up between 8 and 9 a.m., breakfast on board, refueling, storage, preparation for navigation.

Departure , around 9-10 a.m., stage of 4 to 6 hours depending on distance and winds with, if the route permits, a break at midday for lunch and swimming. Navigation allowing everyone to refine the settings and race in a friendly way. The skipper who listens to your expectations will be able to initiate you or improve you.

Around 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. , end of the stage, the sailboat moored in a port or anchored in a wild cove, will allow everyone to relax and enjoy the clear waters of the Aegean or to visit the typical aspects of the stopover.

The aperitif comes naturally and around a traditional glass of Ouzo, the crew exchanges their impressions and “exploits” of the day.

In the evening , meal at the tavern, discovery and tasting of Greek cuisine but also cooking on board by crew members in a friendly atmosphere. Presentation of the next day, before slipping into the soft Aegean night

Booking conditions and cancellation

HOW TO PLACE YOUR ORDER:

Upon receipt and acceptance of your quote, you will have to pay within a week by transfer :
1) A DEPOSIT OF 50% of the total price of your stay, to confirm your reservation + €30.00 for administration fees (telephone, fax). The balance must be paid 30 days before your departure . Follow the instructions given on the quote which you must return to us signed with the words ” good for agreement on the conditions of sale and the quote ” at the same time as the deposit.
Or:
2) YOUR ENTIRE STAY if your reservation takes place 31 DAYS before your departure + €30.00 for administration fees . Follow the instructions given on the quote which you must return to us signed with the words “ good for agreement on the conditions of sale and the quote ”.

3) Please confirm your acceptance of the quote as well as the date of your banking transaction :

 by email (scan of the documents attached) . Don’t forget to indicate your name (or in whose name the reservation was made), your file number, your dates and place of stay, as well as the names of the establishments reserved. As soon as the transfer has been received, we will send you a receipt.
You will keep a copy of the estimate on which the file number is clearly indicated . This file number identifies you and you must keep it carefully.

 HOW TO MAKE YOUR PAYMENTS:

Customers are asked to pay for their stay directly in Greece, by transfer .

REMINDER: Greece being in the “euro zone”, the transfer costs are the same as for those made in France.

 THE CONDITIONS FOR CANCELLATION OF THE STAY:

If you cancel your reservation, you must send registered mail to the headquarters of ILES CYCLADES TRAVEL . Compensation for cancellation costs will be taken from the reimbursement of payments you have already made. The application fees are not refundable . The refund will be made within a maximum period of 60 days following the date of cancellation.
More than 30 days before departure : the amount retained will be 30% of the total amount.
Less than 30 days before departure : 100% of the total amount will be retained.

RESERVES:

All information relating to itineraries and timetables is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute a commitment on our part . The participant cannot claim any compensation in the event of a change occurring after receipt of the cruise voucher, in particular if these changes are attributable to unforeseen events or compelling circumstances (climatic, political, economic). Under no circumstances can the cruise be considered as a transport contract.
Guaranteed departure from 4 participants per circuit . If the number of crew is not required, we can combine our cruise programs. We reserve the right to cancel the cruise if it does not bring together a sufficient number of participants . In this case we will refund the entire amount paid, without the participant being able to claim any compensation.
Boarding is scheduled for 5 p.m. and disembarkation at 9 a.m. unless agreed in advance.

DAMAGE:

After boarding and in the event of damage not caused by the participants, Iles Cyclades Travel will reimburse or replace the lost days, not including the first 2 days; Damages to auxiliary machinery other than propulsion are excluded from this clause. For any damage or loss of equipment caused by the crew during a maneuver or otherwise, a deposit of €50 maximum per person will be used to cover repair or replacement costs.

The traveler will make all arrangements to take out any additional insurance they may need. The company Iles Cyclades Travel advises you to take out CANCELLATION insurance . Find out more from specialized organizations (e.g. ELVIA ASSURANCES)
