Located in the extension of Agios Prokopios , Agia Anna is a nice little fishing port which is made up of two sandy beaches, lined with tamarisk trees, one of which is extended by a rocky promontory dominated by a small chapel. Equipped with good tourist infrastructure, it is a pleasant vacation spot. A good bus service connects Agia Anna to the port of Naxos . Plaka
beach is located immediately after Agia Anna and extends for approximately 4km. It is the largest beach with crystal clear waters and very fine sand. Plaka still retains a fairly wild appearance despite some parts of the beach which are equipped with deckchairs and parasols. Landscape of dunes, very little vegetation, reed hedges shelter from the winds of numerous vegetable fields at the back of the beach. Very beautiful rock formations in the valley. It is just starting to urbanize and as a result there are not yet too many rentals, hotels and restaurants. Orkos and Marangas beaches are part of Plaka beach .
